The Waterbury Symphony Orchestra hosts its annual Spring Gala on Friday, April 25, 2008. The event, entitled We’re Havin’ a Heat Wave, will be held at the Villa Rosa in Waterbury. This evening of salsa and music is sure to get you grooving as we raise money to benefit the programs of the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra.

The event begins with an open cocktail hour at 6:30 PM. During this time you can sip on a Mojito and peruse the wonderful silent auction items that we have for the occasion, which include several pieces of jewelry, gift certificates to several local restaurants and theaters, and more items (click here for a complete listing).

The evening continues with a grand dinner at 7:30 PM, which will be followed by a live auction where we will auction off tickets to South Pacific on Broadway with a limousine ride included, a one night stay at Winvian in Morris, a chance to conduct the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra at the Woodbury Picnic & Pops Concert this July, and original piece of artwork by artist Philip Stone, and much more.

Throughout the evening, we will be selling raffle tickets for a raffle with some wonderful prizes. You could win a case of Spanish Wines with ratings of 90 or above (a total value of over $400), a new Canon Digital Camera, and a $250 travel gift certificate from Largay Travel.
