Student Internships/Talented and Gifted

 

Talented and gifted individuals

receive individual lessons and mentorship with WSO musicians as well as participate in full orchestra rehearsals.  Administrative internships are also available to college students and recent graduates seeking experience in arts management, marketing, and music education.

 

Goals:

  • Support young people’s development artistically, academically, socially, intellectually, and personally.

    •  

  • Provide “real-world” work experiences to prepare young adults for careers and volunteerism in the arts.

2011- 12 Internship Partners:

 

  • The Hartt School-University of Hartford, Sacred Heart University, Bryant University
    • Students studying arts management, music education, marketing.
