*Interlude: Douglas O'Grady's "iAlchemy" - an iPad Orchestra Experience featuring students from Seymour High School

Perhaps the greatest power of a symphony orchestra concert is the ability to evoke an emotional catharsis in audience members.  The music of “Metamorphosis” seeks to maximize this effect through the brilliance of the featured composers and the return of one of the WSO’s most beloved guest artists.   William Wolfram will thrill WSO audiences once again with his powerful interpretations, and Paul Hindemith will lead us through a remarkable manipulation of a few harmless ditties by Carl Maria von Weber into a symphonic powerhouse.  Our Interlude?  Join us to experience a completely new direction in the orchestra concert experience…….
