Keep your eyes peeled on the upcoming announcement of The Waterbury Symphony Orchestra (WSO) 87th Season, 'Where Music Takes Us' .with the launch of three new concert series, fresh and innovative twists on traditional favorites, renown guest artists and the Symphony’s second ever candle quartet concert with WSO’s string quartet bathed in candlelight performing the music of, oooh this one is good, the music of Fleetwood Mac, Eagles & Queen!   For a bit of fun, this year we will also be presenting a 4th concert at the Fine Arts Center - just in time for the holidays - Leif promises to have both a twinkle in his eye [and will be sporting a very ugly sweater] with our Christmas in CT : Ugly Sweater Edition Holiday Pops Concert. We are also thrilled to be partnering again with the Palace Theater to present our ever popular Annual Cinema & Symphony - this year, the Symphony will revel in the marvelous John Williams score with JURRASSIC PARK on Saturday, March 14th.

Before all that, we kick off our 87th Season with our beloved Picnic & Pops just a little over a month away, on Saturday, July 12th, 5:30 pm Hollow Park in Woodbury CT.

Don't miss this chance to swing into summer with an unforgettable afternoon of music at our Big Band Pops Concert! From the toe-tapping rhythms of classic swing to the high-energy pulse of rock, and the cool, sophisticated sounds of jazz legend Dave Brubeck, this concert has something for everyone. Whether you're grooving to "Take Five" or rocking out under a sky of blue, this concert is a tour through the sounds that define American music. It's the perfect blend of bold brass, smooth style, and feel-good vibes for the whole family.

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and let the music move you.

The three concert series, each featuring three performances throughout the season - include the traditional full-orchestra MasterWorks & Holiday Pops Series at the NVCC in Waterbury, a our 2nd year of Edmond Town Hall Series in Newtown, and finally, our Litchfield Chamber Series at the Litchfield Community Center.

Back by popular demand, and througut the entire season this year, WSO is offering a Flex Package Option—a MIX & MATCH option for any three or more concerts from the full 10-concert season. Flex Package orders enjoy 10% discount on all tickets and waived 'per ticket' booking fees. Available throughout the entire season, prices start as low as $73 for 3 concerts.
