It's a wrap! A wonderful turnout and such joy - our Holiday Pops: Christmas In CT Concert

Updated: 1 minute ago

A stunning soloist soprano Katie Nicole Weiser, and 4 winners of our impromptu Ugly Sweater Competition... well, not 'ugly' but 'such fun'!

It was a pinch me moment for the Symphony on Sunday December 7th, as 61 of our best and brightest professional symphony musicians were joined on stage by soloist Katie Nicole Weiser and later in the program with a guest appearance by Bravo Waterbury! after-school children.

A short clip of one of the many highlights of the evening, Katie singing "Oh Holy Night, with our full orchestra", prepare to be bereft that the clip comes to an end ... it was that exquisite!

Following the concert, our Continuo Club Members*, Premium Subscribers, Board Members and special supporters enjoyed our post-concert Black Box Reception. A wonderful chance to meet the talent and discover the inspiration behind the music program and enjoy the after glow of a glorious performance. *Read more about becoming a Continuo Club member, via our Holiday Pop's Program below.

We had such fun with the 'UGLY' SWEATERS.

For sure they were more 'fun' and 'fabulous' than 'ugly' - Many of our enthusiastic concert goers got into the holiday spirit by donning their best 'Ugly Sweaters'.

Scroll through the pics of all those that dared to be photographed! See below for the winners!

The winners of the 'Ugly' Sweater contest on the night ... were Amy & Jose Llerena of New Milford.
