Connecting to Virtual Events

Zoom has become an essential way to connect with each other, whether it is virtual event, round-table discussion or music education seminar.

If you are new to virtual events, as many of us are, the step-by-step instructions below will help you participate in Waterbury Symphony Orchestra events that are hosted on Zoom. Click here for instructions on how to connect to virtual WSO events using ZOOM.

Will The WSO Have Live Concerts?

This is a great place to tell people more about your business.

Watch and Listen

Even though there are times when we cannot gather in person to enjoy live classical music.  The Waterbury Symphony is finding exciting new ways to connect and engage through a new medium. The Symphony is offering an increasing number of programs through virtual delivery and online learning.  In partnership with the musicians of the WSO, we have released archival performances with insights from Music Director & Conductor, Leif Bjaland, for all to enjoy, on our website. The WSO builds connections across the region with exploratory concerts, events, and educational programs. The WSO maintains a firm commitment to produce programs that are of value to its patrons, participants and community partners. This commitment is rooted in the Symphony’s core belief that music education and shared cultural experiences are essential to creating community.  Founded in 1938, the Symphony has assembled over 100 of the most talented musicians across New England to perform throughout Northwest Connecticut.  The 2019-2020 season celebrates Maestro Leif Bjaland’s 25th Anniversary as Music Director & Conductor with the WSO.

The Symphony has been the Orchestra-in-Residence at Naugatuck Valley Community College since 1992.
