The WSO’s Bravo Waterbury! program has been a beacon of hope and a source of profound social development for Waterbury students over the course of the last 12 years, providing after school music education of underserved children of Waterbury, CT … every single Monday -Thursday 3-5 pm … every single week of the school year. The program is fully funded through generous grants, foundation, corporate support and individual donations without which the Bravo Waterbury! program would simply not be possible.

At the helm of a Waterbury based business, Ron Quicquaro, Principal of Studio Q Architecture, has been grounded in the challenges faced by many families in the city. Thus when Ron approached WSO with the wish to have his firm support "young students in Waterbury, he immediately welcomed the opportunity to be lead corporate sponsor for WSO's Bravo Waterbury! program. We are profoundly grateful to Studio Q Architecture's leadership and generosity in providing sustaining support to such a vital program in need.

The Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, Children’s Community School and other community partners, Bravo uses music education as a bridge between the arts sector and marginalized and under-served communities.   The program teaches musical, social and emotional skills aimed at helping students overcome challenging circumstances and become successful members of their communities.
