On Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at 4pm, in the 800 seat Fine Arts Center of Naugatuck Valley Community College, a special gathering of State, County, and Local Waterbury leaders, and the brand new Brass City Voices choir will join together with longstanding WSO musicians, patrons and
community members for a very special Waterbury Concert and Reception.

Through this concert, From Fortune’s Bones – To a New World, together we are honoring the grace of a whole community who came together to right a wrong, followed by a rousing 2nd half performance capturing the spirit of adventure and possibilities expressed in one the most famous
and beloved symphonies written in the New World - Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World."

Our 2022-2023 MasterWorks series concludes with Symphonic Summit - a mountainous trek through modern and classic masterpieces. This concert will feature our Thomas C. Clark Young Artist Competition winner on piano - to be announced in the Fall. Leif Bjaland and the WSO will end our season on a high note, with Schubert's "Great" Symphony No. 9 in C Major. See you on the summit!
